Heart for Haiti 

 On January 12, a series of earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 6.5 to 7.3 devastated Haiti. Chapin Middle School wants to do its part to help in the relief effort. All proceeds collected during the Heart for Haiti drive will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Our gift to the American Red Cross will support emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Assistance provided by the American Red Cross may include deploying personnel, sending relief supplies, and providing financial resources.

Our goal in the 7th grade is to collect $1,500. Donations from parents and business are gladly accepted. Please make checks payable to CMS. 

· Hat Day-HW Pass: Tuesday February 2 and Monday February 8 $1

· Hungry in Academy (Students can bring a snack to eat in academy):  Wednesday February 3 and Tuesday February 9 $1

· Headphones in Academy (Students can listen to ipods in academy): Thursday February 4 and Wednesday February 10 $1

· Hang out at Lunch: Friday February 5 and Thursday February 11 $1

·  REWARD DAY: Friday February 12 (If goal of $1,500 is met)

* Students pay for all days in 1st block class. Must have sticker showing payment for each day.
